• Good although the car park is bumpy

Walks

• The standard walk goes steeply up to the summit from the car park at first and then follows some paths gently downwards away from the peak, returning to the car park later.

Description

• The summit of Pitch Hill is less open than Holmbury Hill or Leith Hill but the views are still excellent and many of the paths are wide and lined with stone, which in particular is popular with cyclists on mountain bikes.

Wet weather

• A number of the paths around Pitch Hill are stony and popular with mountain bikers; this also makes them suitable for winter walks.
