What is the parking like?
- Easy but access to the farm must now be booked in advance
What are the parking charges like?
- Entry is per person but not expensive and easily recouped with the reasonable cost of pick your own produce
Description
- Not a place for walks but nevertheless a worthy location to include as an outdoors green space and definitely worth a morning or afternoon to pick your own fruit and vegetables. Katy's favourite is the redcurrants, Nick's favourites are the cherries and french beans.
- There are no toilets or refreshments in the PYO area itself but there is a restaurant on site for before or after your visit if required.
- Always check what is picking in advance. It's often best to go towards the end of a week i.e. before the hordes descent on the farm at the weekend.
