Description
- Box Hill is perhaps the most well known and popular of the Surrey Hills. The road up the hill was used three times in the London 2012 Olympic road cycling race and it is therefore very popular with cyclists. The views from the top of the hill are very impressive and there is a lot of space for walking all the way down the hill. There are also some unique quirks like the man buried upside down. This is an old favourite for many people and was visited by both Nick and Katy when they were small.
Wet weather
- Some paths are all weather but it can get very muddy in places.
