Parking
What is the parking like?
- There is lots of parking available but it can get busy at peak periods such as summer holiday weekends
What are the parking charges like?
- Expensive (but all in a good cause)
Walks
- There are several walks available including one themed on the Gruffalo, which will excite younger children, and a Wallace and Gromit trail for slightly older kids and dogs. There is a trails map to help work out a walk of your own.
Description
- Alice Holt is a large area of peaceful forest, managed by Forestry England, close to Farnham. They have 247 hectares in total. Many of the paths can also be cycled. There is a Go Ape Treetop place that requires booking in advance. As this is a managed forest it has a different feel from the other places we like to wallk.
Wet weather
- Many of the paths are gravel and suitable for winter walks.
